Artists On Demand was brought about when Vicky and Nikki decided that their favorite bands/musicians did not get the recognition that they deserved. They felt that everyone deserved a healthy outlet for their art form and that Artists On Demand would be that outlet. Blog Talk Radio seemed like the perfect place to start, because anyone could start their own radio show and talk about whatever it was they wanted to and it was completely free.

Shortly after starting up in April of 2009, Kristin came on to assist in the booking. That has since evolved into her doing most of the behind the scenes work and booking all the talent. Artists On Demand grew in popularity until the girls had brought on Megs, Ashleigh, Lydia, Dani, Kat, and JoAnna. Just after their first year, Jade was brought on as an administrative assistant to help with blogging, researching, and other tasks.

Deciding to venture outside the box, Artists On Demand became one of the most popular entertainment shows on BTR with listeners in the thousands. You can find everything from todays hottest up and coming bands/musicians, popular artists and photographers, directors, producers, and the most popular celebrities from TV and movies.

Fans are allowed to interact with their favorite celebrities, call in and talk, and meet new friends in the attached chats to all the shows. Artists On Demand is slowly taking over online as well as offline. In January 2011, Artists On Demand will be streaming live from the Hillywood Cruise set to leave Miami and travel to the Bahamas and back. Artists On Demand may have started small, but the little show that could is slowly working its way to the top of the entertainment world and making sure to bring the fans with them.
